On moving to Dublin in 1967 our first purchase was building land in Celbridge. This phase began the expansion of our horizons into larger projects. New partners joined. New companies were formed as vehicles for specific projects. I began working between the UK and Ireland and began my move into more diverse projects, eventually expanding my interests further afield into the US and Europe. We worked with partners on all our projects, thus bringing resources, skillsets and reducing risk.
In Ireland the IDA were having success in attracting foreign direct investment. The country was taking it’s first steps to becoming the 51st state of America and it needed quality commercial accommodation. We were in the right place at the right time in the cycle. Our developments in Sandyford, Tallaght, Belfield Office Park, Burlington Road Plaza were developed to house top tier international companies in tech, media and finance sectors.
Redquartz was formed in 1990 and it has represented the Kelly family investments over the past decades.
